  1. good job Rachel i really like yours :D i like how u use paper as it is like fabric..brilliant idea.
may be it can be improve by making pattern on some sides? so that the light can go out the lamp cos this material is pretty thick therefore the light kinda blocked. if you made this using thinner paper im sure it will look even better!

  2. i thought this design was brilliant. i really love the fact that you were able to sew the material. i think you executed it very well and the seams came together nicely. it would have been good to see more light come out of it though, so maybe more open areas or more cut outs would have been made it nicer.

  3. the concept of the light is interesting and i like the angles you have created. The way you have used the material looks a little heavy you might want to allow more light through the material

  4. Great job Rachael, its a great concept and the way you have used the material and shapes you have created loo fantastic. If anything maybe you could have cut shapes through the material or had more open areas to allow more light to come through. Other than that brilliant job!

  5. this was a well made light where the size is in the right proportion for a pendant light. I was really impressed that you machined sewed the pieces together, however I think it would be better if you provided some gaps to reveal more light.

  6. Hey Rachael, your hero shot have been presented very beautifully, the light it self is very inspiring and beautiful. It could even be better if more light could get through the material but I only blame the material and your light is fantastic as it is :) keep up the great job.
